This release introduces the UI for mission-based tasks and includes under-the-hood improvements to enhance the Burro experience.

⭐️ New Features

Missions from the Burro UI

We are excited to announce that you can now send the Burro on missions directly from the UI! This feature is currently in beta and allows users to easily navigate to the mission start point, execute tasks, and return to a designated destination.

For instance, when using the mowing mission, the Burro can be sent to mow a specific area. It will automatically navigate to that area, turn on the mower, complete the task, and then proceed to the next point.

To use this feature, please follow these steps:

Currently, we only support mowing missions, but we are actively working on expanding this feature to include more tasks in the future.

Open the Developer page from the side menu and click on the Experimental tag.

Enable theAdvanced Job Builderfeature.

Enable Advanced Job
Builder

Return to the main screen and click the 'Add Destination' button.

🪄 Under-the-Hood Improvements

Experimental Settings Cleanup

  • We have streamlined the experimental settings page for improved usability. Some features have been set as defaults, and outdated options have been removed. Rest assured, this will not affect the operation of your current Fleet.

QR Code Scanning Enhancements

  • The QR code scanning experience has been significantly improved. The Burro will now remain stationary while scanning QR codes, eliminating previous issues caused by minor movements during the scanning process.
