This update makes your Burros smarter, cooler, and more reliable — with improved cooling performance, clearer maps, smarter obstacle handling, and faster stall recovery in the field.
Fixes you’ll notice
⛰️Improved Safety on Slopes
For our smaller Burro platforms (Standard and Verde), we’ve enhanced safety on hills and slopes. Previously, pressing the bumper bar and emergency stop would activate an override mode that allowed the Burro to freewheel. This could pose a risk on inclines. Now, override mode has been removed from these models.
🔍 Improved search
Search is now faster and more precise. You’ll only see results that match your query. No more unrelated routes or paths cluttering your view. This makes it easier for your team to quickly select destinations and send Burro exactly where it needs to go.
🌱 Grass Model is now generally available
The Grass model has graduated from the experimental menu and is now available under Profiles in your settings.We’ve made major improvements to how Burro navigates around foliage and obstacles in grassy environments. You can now confidently use this model for operations that involve vegetation or uneven terrain—no special setup required.
📺 Demo Mode
For our dealer partners, Demo Mode is now fixed. Destinations now display properly on demo maps, making it easier to showcase Burro’s capabilities at expos, trade shows, and other events.
🛑 Mower motor stalls - stop the Grande
The Grande now monitors its mower motors for signs of a stall. If a stall is detected, the system will automatically stop the Burro to prevent you from running a route with a motor stopped. You can choose to clear the issue either remotely or using the onboard Oreo buttons.
