This release includes enhancements for remote control operations, improved traffic management between robots, and fixes for various UI and connectivity issues.

⭐️ New Features

Remote Control

  • Enable/Disable Remote: Easily enable or disable the remote control directly from the Robot UI settings page.

  • Input Feedback: Real-time feedback for remote button presses for clearer interaction.

Enhanced Remote Controls

  • Pause/Resume on Route: Use the ‘Play/Pause’ button to pause or resume Burro during a route, ensuring smooth stops and stability while towing. You can also skip to the next destination or clear obstacles with this button.

  • Light Toggle: Switch remote lights on or off directly from the remote control.

Traffic Management

When two robots encounter each other while driving in opposite directions along the same route, one robot will automatically wait for the other to pass. This feature enhances operations in narrow corridors and sharp turns, reducing congestion.

Note: This feature requires Burros to be connected to the internet.


🛠️ Issues Resolved

  • TTC Fixes: Resolved UI issues indicating Burro is far from the route even when not in autonomy.

  • Fixed NTRIP delays in Australia.


🧪 Experimental

Negative Obstacles

  • Smooth stops are now available at speeds of up to 4 MPH.
