Sites
Site Management
Each site has its own elements, networks, and settings, ensuring that content is managed without interference from other sites. Users can:
- Switch between multiple sites within the top left-hand sidebar.
- Edit site boundaries and properties at any time.
- Manage elements uniquely for each site without affecting other locations.
Burro’s site assignment is determined based on its location. If it is located within a site’s bounds, it will appear on that site.
By maintaining site-level content organization, BOSS ensures clarity, efficiency, and seamless management of autonomous systems.
Single Site vs. Multiple Sites
One Site:
- All operations happen within the same geographic location.
- The paths and workflows overlap, and Burros need to move fluidly across the entire area.
- You are managing a single farm, facility, or operational zone where all assets are relevant to all users.
Split Sites:
- You manage multiple farms, fields, or facilities with distinct operational workflows.
- The locations are physically far apart, and Burros will not be moving between them.
- Different teams or departments need to manage their own sites independently without affecting other locations.
- Each site has unique elements that do not overlap with others (e.g., separate route networks, POIs, or automation settings).
By structuring your Sites correctly, you can keep operations organized, improve navigation, and make managing your fleet more efficient.
