Relocalize Indoors
This guide explains how to relocalize your Burro indoors using QR codes.
When your Burro loses localization—either because it has been taken away from a LiDAR map indoors or restarted indoors. This will be denoted by a red GPS icon on the top navigation bar and will prevent you from sending your Burros to a destination. You can now re-localize it using QR codes.
Relocalizing using existing QR codes
Put the Burro into “person follow” mode and guide it to the nearest location with your new QR code.
Align the rear camera with the QR code, maintaining a distance of 1-2 meters so that the entire QR code is clearly visible to the camera.
Once the Burro is aligned, open the toolbox icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
This will open the option to ‘Locate with QR’. Click on it to start the scanning workflow.
You will be notified once the process is successful and you have regained localization and your GPS icon will now turn green to indicate that you are now localized.
To purchase QR codes for your site, please reach out to your sales or customer service representative. We usually recommend one QR code per indoor greenhouse space that you plan to operate within.
QR codes should not be moved once added to your site. Moving them will cause unwanted deviations, which could lead to damage while towing.
