If you wish to mount your Base Station in a permanent location for continuous operation, you must configure it to Permanent Mode. This mode is designed for long-term installations where the Base Station will remain stationary.

Setting Up Permanent Mode

  • First, ensure that the Base Station has successfully surveyed in (indicated by a solid green LED).
  • Once confirmed, press and hold the power button until the Survey-in Indicator changes to blue. This indicates that the Base Station is now in Permanent Mode.

Constant Power Connection

  • To provide continuous power to the Base Station, it is crucial to use the water-sealing USB-C cable to connect to the USB-C port on the Base Station. This cable ensures the unit remains powered while protecting against moisture and environmental elements.
