The Base Station operates in Survey-In Mode by default, which is essential for establishing an accurate location reference. The LED indicator provides visual feedback about the status of the surveying process:

Surveying-in (Blinking Green)

This indicates that the Base Station is actively observing its location and averaging data to accurately estimate its position on Earth. This process typically takes a few moments.

Surveyed-in (Solid Green)

A solid green LED means the Base Station has successfully completed the surveying process and is now ready for use by Burros within range. At this point, the Base Station will provide accurate positioning data.

Error Surveying-in (Red)

A red LED indicates that an error occurred during the surveying-in process. In this case, you should move the Base Station to a location with a clearer view of the sky and power cycle the unit to attempt the surveying process again.
