6.11.2
This release introduces indoor localization with QR codes, enhanced safety protocols, new tire profiles for the Grande.
⭐️ New Features
Indoor Localization with QR Codes
When your Burro loses localization—whether due to being moved outside the DBR map or restarted—you can now re-localize indoors using QR codes. This feature is particularly beneficial for users with large indoor spaces, eliminating the need to take the Burro outside to regain localization.
You can either re-localize using an existing QR Code or add a new QR Code to your Burro map for future use.

Bumper Bar Safety Override Improvements
In the rare event that an individual is pinned against a structure by a Burro, the brakes will automatically engage to prevent further movement. To assist users in safely managing this situation, we have implemented UI guidance for overriding the safety protocol. Users can now override the safety feature by holding down the stop button, which protects the bumper bar from potential damage.
How to Override the Safety Protocol
To successfully override the safety protocol, please follow the steps outlined below:
This action will initiate the override countdown.
Continue holding the bumper bar or the Stop Button until the countdown timer concludes, activating override mode.
Once in override mode, you can manually control the Burro using the control buttons or the remote.
The override mode will remain active for 30 seconds, allowing sufficient time for individuals to move out of the Burro’s path.
Tire Profiles
We are excited to announce the addition of new tire profiles for the Grande! You can now enhance your vehicle’s performance with the R1 tires, designed for improved traction on soft surfaces such as snow, sand, and mud. Alternatively, consider switching to non-marking tires to avoid leaving marks on the floor.
After upgrading your tires to an official set from Burro, please update the tire profile in the UI for optimal performance.
