Charging Instructions

The BURRO Grande units are designed to charge via a standard three-prong plug. To charge, simply connect the plug to a standard 120V outlet using a typical extension cord. Each unit draws approximately 10-11 Amps at 120V during charging.

To avoid circuit overload, do not connect more than one BURRO Grande unit to a single circuit. In the U.S., a standard outlet is typically wired to a 15A circuit, and exceeding this capacity may cause the circuit breaker to trip, preventing the BURRO from charging.

Battery Storage Recommendations

If the batteries are to be stored, please disconnect them from the robot and store them in a cool, dry location with adequate ventilation. The recommended storage conditions are between 50-95°F (10-35°C) with approximately 50% humidity.

Maintenance During Storage:

  • Charging Frequency: Charge the batteries every 90 days to maintain optimal performance.
  • Alternative Option: You may keep the batteries connected to the robot and plugged into a power source when not in use, in which case no additional steps are necessary.
