Lifting and Hoisting
When performing maintenance tasks on the Burro that require lifting or hoisting, it is essential to follow rigorous procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and the integrity of the equipment.
Designated Lifting Points
The Burro is equipped with specific hoist points on its frame, which are clearly marked for easy identification. Additionally, two jack points are available—one at the front and one at the rear, positioned between the left and right wheels.
Pre-Lifting Guidelines
Before initiating any lifting or hoisting operation, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Use Designated Hoist Points:
- Always utilize the designated hoist points on the Burro’s frame for hoisting operations. These points are strategically engineered to securely support the weight of the Burro.
Jack Safety Procedures:
- When using jacks for lifting, ensure that the Burro is lowered onto solid surfaces before commencing any maintenance work.
- Do not rely solely on the jack for support during maintenance procedures, as this may pose risks of accidents or equipment damage.
